Today at work, I decided to wear my hair in a traditional sock bun. I received so much good feedback (even though I was just being lazy while trying to look professional), that it inspired me to compile a list of a few fun ways to wear your hair in the ultra-trendy sock bun!

DIY Sock Bun for those lazy hair days ❣ You just need a long tube sock that's close to your hair color. Snip the toes portion of the sock and fold the sock downward to make a donut. I used two socks here to make the bun more full. —————————————————- #hairtutorial #makeuptutorialsx0x #makeuptutorials #igtutorials #subscribe @makeuptutorialsx0x #makeupartistsworldwide #makeupartist #glamvids #1minutemakeup #liveglam #makeupvideox #instatutorial #beauty1videos #lux_tutorials #inssta_makeup #krismarieartistry #make4glam #hudabeauty #brian_champagne #sockbun #diy #glammakeupvideos #youtube #beautyandhairdiaries @wakeupandmakeup @beauty1videos @makeupvideox @brownskin_beat_makeupvideos @liveglam.co @make4glam @beautyandhairdiaries @makeup__videosss #makeupvideosonly @makeupvideoss @makeupvideosonly @luxtutorials @glam_makeup_videos
This is the most common way to wear a sock bun. This is how I wore my hair today and many other days at work because it’s really easy and quick to do in the morning. I usually wash my hair at night, and I don’t usually wash it every day. In other words, the sock bun is a good “off day” look for your hair. I usually use a little bit of dry shampoo first to make everything perfect.
#2. The Never-Ending Braid Bun
This is a fantastic look for those special events, but still pretty easy to do. If you follow this tutorial, it should be really easy to do. Read more about the different types of braids.
#3. The Messy Bun
Want a messier look? I can’t say that I blame you… it’s a really popular style right now. This tutorial will help you perfect your messy bun look.
#4. The Military Sock Bun
We can’t forget our military ladies! This bun is a professional way to keep your hair neat and clean, while still having a little personal flare.
