6 Creative Ways To Wear A Sock Bun

Today at work, I decided to wear my hair in a traditional sock bun. I received so much good feedback (even though I was just being lazy while trying to look professional), that it inspired me to compile a list of a few fun ways to wear your hair in the ultra-trendy sock bun!

Are you a fan of the ever-popular sock bun?  Read all about the sock bun and check out 6 different creative ways to wear one...

#1. The Traditional Sock Bun

This is the most common way to wear a sock bun. This is how I wore my hair today and many other days at work because it’s really easy and quick to do in the morning. I usually wash my hair at night, and I don’t usually wash it every day. In other words, the sock bun is a good “off day” look for your hair. I usually use a little bit of dry shampoo first to make everything perfect.

#2. The Never-Ending Braid Bun

This is a fantastic look for those special events, but still pretty easy to do. If you follow this tutorial, it should be really easy to do. Read more about the different types of braids.

#3. The Messy Bun

Want a messier look? I can’t say that I blame you… it’s a really popular style right now. This tutorial will help you perfect your messy bun look.

#4. The Military Sock Bun

We can’t forget our military ladies! This bun is a professional way to keep your hair neat and clean, while still having a little personal flare.

#5. Twin Buns

What’s better than one bun? Two buns. Check out this fantastic tutorial on how to create “fluffy twin buns.”

#6. The Lace Braided Bun

Last but not least, check out this beautiful braided bun. This would be great for any formal look.
