This is a name for super short, straight bangs that graze the top of the forehead. They were made popular by Bettie Page in the 1950s.
They are also called baby fringe, micro fringe, micro bangs, and cropped bangs.

Loving your blog. Just had my hair cut yesterday for the first time since the pandemic began. I am almost 75 years young and live in an assisted living facility. Our stylist left when quarantine went into effect, so THE stylist who cut my hair this time was unfamiliar with my HAIR, which seems to be growing finer and thinner by the year. It has retained its natural color with very little gray. The STYLIST did VERY little TEXTURIZING, so THE cut looks harsh. I did purchase a styling product to make my hair look thicker, but i don't know how to soften the LOOK. Any suggestions??
