FAQ

You can do so many different hairstyles for prom- look for ones that compliment your facial features, dress, and hair type. Some of the more popular hairstyles include variations of loose, romantic braids and twists, long voluminous curls, and gorgeous embellishments.
You can honestly do your hair however you feel comfortable for prom! If you feel more confident with your hair down, go for it! Pair it with a side part and glamorous waves for extra pizazz.
💡TIP: Wear your hair down with a strapless dress. Dresses with higher necklines tend to work better with updos.
Your hairstylist will likely have other reservations on prom day, so make sure to make an appointment as soon as possible. You’ll have to work around their schedule and what they feel is an appropriate time range for the style.
That being said, it’s good to schedule your appointment in the early afternoon so that you have time to make any necessary changes, do your makeup, get dressed, take pictures, etc. On the other hand, the style may not last until the evening if you do it too early.
You should do your hair however you feel comfortable. If wearing your hair straight makes you feel more confident, you should do that. Choose a hairstyle that works best with your facial features, natural hair texture, and dress style.
Wash your hair with clarifying shampoo 1-2 nights before, which will make your hair much easier to style on the big day.
Rinse your hair with cold water before you get out of the shower to close down the cuticle. Please don’t use too many products, and make sure to part your hair while it’s still wet.
It’s important to make sure that your hair is completely dry by the time you need to style it.
