6 Game of Thrones Hair Tutorials

I don’t know about you but Game of Thrones is the one show that I absolutely must watch every week. I love to see which characters are scheming against the others and hope to see the ones I like rise to the top. Beyond that, there are some amazing sets, costumes and hairstyles that I look forward to seeing. Since today is the day that season 6 premieres (finally! I’ve been waiting for almost a year,) I decided to post a few beautiful Game of Thrones hair tutorials, inspired by the characters of the show.

In light of the new Game of Thrones season premiering today, I decided to post 6 Game of Thrones hair tutorials!

Daenerys Targaryen Hair Tutorial

In light of the new Game of Thrones season premiering today, I decided to post 6 Game of Thrones hair tutorials!

This game of thrones hair tutorial comes from the scene that ends season 1, when Daenerys Targaryen walks into a huge fire (spoiler alert) with three petrified dragon eggs, and after the fire burns out, she is still alive, holding with three baby dragons. Daeny’s signature silver hair is usually decorated with elaborate braids and beautiful hairstyles, but this is one of her best styles of all times.

Sansa Stark Hair Tutorial

In light of the new Game of Thrones season premiering today, I decided to post 6 Game of Thrones hair tutorials!

Sansa wears some of the most amazing hairstyles on this entire show. She is very classy and her hair is almost always elaborately done-up. This tutorial is to replicate her wedding hair (the first wedding in season 4), which is one of her most complicated hairstyles yet.

Cersei Lannister Hair Tutorial

In light of the new Game of Thrones season premiering today, I decided to post 6 Game of Thrones hair tutorials!

Cersei, like Sansa, often wears elaborate hairstyles. She is the queen and is known for her beautiful golden curls. This girl uses synthetic hair to make her hair appear fuller and thicker, like Cersei’s hair often looks on the show. This tutorial is to make your hair look like Cersei Lannister’s hair during the “purple wedding,” where her son, Joffrey Baratheon marries Margaery Tyrell.

Margaery Tyrell Hair Tutorial

In light of the new Game of Thrones season premiering today, I decided to post 6 Game of Thrones hair tutorials!

Speaking of Margaery Tyrell, I couldn’t leave her out of this article. She also wears some amazing hairstyles throughout the show. She has a reputation for being the most beautiful woman in all of Westeros and her costumes and hairstyles always live up to her standard. This tutorial is to recreate the lovely hairstyle she wears during her third wedding (she has really bad luck.)

Catelyn Tully (Stark) Hair Tutorial

In light of the new Game of Thrones season premiering today, I decided to post 6 Game of Thrones hair tutorials!

Catelyn Stark is one of the strongest women in the entire show. She is usually more concerned with strategy and taking care of her family than being elaborate and flashy. However, she is still a lady and a very classy one at that. This hair tutorial is a perfect representation of who she is.

Arya Stark Hair Tutorial

In light of the new Game of Thrones season premiering today, I decided to post 6 Game of Thrones hair tutorials!

Little Arya Stark’s hair has changed quite a bit throughout the seasons. This tutorial is to replicate her simple hairstyle when she is in Braavos, acting as “Lanna,” a poor girl pushing an oyster cart through the city, selling “oysters, clams and cockles.”

What do you think of these Game of Thrones hair tutorials? Do you watch the show? Would you ever try to recreate some of these styles? I’d love to read your feedback in the comments section below.
