Ipsy March Glam Bag

So I finally got my March Glam Bag by Ipsy (although it was quite late this month). I think that most of the things I got in my bag this month were pretty cool and I’d like to share my experience with you.

Check out what was in my March Glam Bag from Ipsy!

What Was In My March Glam Bag?

Go Green Eyeliner by OFRA Cosmetics. See what else was in my March Glam Bag...

1. Green Go Eyeliner by OFRA Cosmetics

This eyeliner pencil from OFRA Cosmetics was pretty cool. At first I wasn’t too keen on the color, but it actually worked pretty good with the metallic tones of my eyeshadow that I used (Armor by Urban Decay). Sometimes, these eyeliner pencils go on really thick and look horrible when you use them to line your bottom-eye, but not this one. It went on pretty light, and so you need to go over it a few times, but it was perfect beyond that. It looked blended and smooth. I would consider buying more colors from this company.

2. Me Me Me Loose Powder Brush

This loose powder brush by Me Me Me was cool but it wasn’t amazing. I probably don’t know enough about loose powder brushes to be a judge so don’t listen to me. I might also be biased because I just bought a pretty cool makeup brush set that I really enjoy. It really was soft and seemed to provide great coverage. I just wouldn’t go as far to say that it was the most amazing thing I’ve ever tried. If you don’t know a lot about makeup brushes and are looking for a good loose powder brush, give this one a try.

3. Be a Bombshell Cosmetics Baked Bronzer in Heat Wave

This is a pretty sweet bronzer and it seems to be full-sized. It gives you a great amount of coverage but doesn’t make your face look dirty like some bronzers do. With the perfect amount of shimmer in it, it gives you a nice, healthy glow without making it look like you are wearing makeup- perfect for these upcoming summer months. I really enjoyed this product in my glam bag.

4. NYX Cosmetics Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in Pink Lust

I’ve said this before but I’ll say it again: I’m really not a fan of lipstick. I don’t like how it looks on me or how it feels. I hate how it gets all over everything. Even when I got my makeup done for my wedding, the makeup artist used very minimal lip makeup. I think lipstick is awesome for other people and I love watching the video tutorials online- I just don’t like to wear it.

That being said, this lipstick was pretty good. I like the way that it felt on my lips. It seemed to stick well and had good coverage. The downfall for me was that the hot pink color looked horrible on me. I see other people wearing similar colors that look great, but it just isn’t for me. But I do like this product and would recommend it. I’ve been trying a lot of NYX stuff lately and they seem to be a pretty awesome brand for their price. You should check them out, if you haven’t already.

5. Organic Surge Lavender Meadow Hand & Nail Cream

So I am a weirdo that has to constantly use lotion. I live in Nevada where there is little humidity and every time I wash my  hands, I immediately apply hand lotion. I’m really not too picky about what I use, as long as I have something. I really did like this Organic Surge hand lotion. It made my hands feel very soft and smelled wonderful. I’m going to keep it in my purse and use it more often.

If you haven’t tried Ipsy yet, you should. You get 5 oversized samples of beauty products, hair products and makeup for just 10$ a month. If you order today, using my link, you’ll get a free full-sized eyeliner pencil. Give it a shot!
