All About Miss Hollee Wood

Hello! My name is Hollee. People call me “Hollee Wood.”

I will try to keep this short and sweet so you all aren’t stuck reading my entire life story…

It all started on the glorious day of November 1st in sunny Palm Springs, Ca….

Just Kidding….

But for real, I’m just a typical girl that lives with my husband Nevada.   We have been together for over 5 years and have been through a lot of great things together so far, like traveling the world together and purchasing our own house.  We also were just recently married and it’s been pretty great 🙂  We have 2 amazing chihuahuas (mychihuahuasblog.com), 6 chickens, and a little grey kitty.  I consider our life to be pretty perfect <3

I was a professional hairstylist for about 9 years, but recently retired from the hair industry.  I love teaching and talking about hair a lot more then I like doing it.   My dream in life is to be a professional blogger / web designer / graphic designer and work from home.  I am not far off from that goal, and I am very blessed with all of the opportunities I have been given.  In the mean time, I work for the state of Nevada.

I pretty much spend most of my free time doing CrossFit and working out.  CrossFit has changed me in so many ways that I can’t even explain, and makes me strive to be a better person every day.  I’ve been doing it for over 2 years and it’s amazing to see how much progress comes from hard work.

If you have any questions or inquiries about me or this blog, please do not hesitate to e-mail me at [email protected] or leave it in a comment.

Also, please don’t forget to follow us on Facebook/Twitter/Instagram etc.

Thank you so much for the continued support <3

Hi I am so happy I found you. Please help. When I was younger I colored my hair with henna n than haircolor. When I was 22 I tried to go back to m natural colr But I began ro show White not close to grey. So I kept on dying. I stayed in a dark brown bc I am so fair. Now I have moved to warmer weather n its not working. I asked my NY stylist and she says auburn. Kinda what I was born as. I do 4N now. My husband never liked the color as time passed ao we made a deal u color than take me for a cut. It worked for years. But my white is showwing after 2 weeks. TIme is not alllowing me to tell him do it. So I have been looking online. I know 4 N can be changed without removing. Sally reccommended something. If I do it. How long do you reccomend to wait befor afdding new color. I am thinkingMed Auburn n highlights of maybe carmel. It may hide the whit on the part lines. What do you think or suggest. My colorist uis saying 7 but what is that. I am so light I cant pull offf blond if I do it turns orange in a week. so not cool. Pleasw help get me a plan.
    Thanks

Sorry it took so long to get back to you! I have been realllllly busy lately :-/ Anyways, I just want to clarify, that you’re trying to add caramel highlights to your 4n color. Caramel is a good choice, because it will be hard to lift your hair too much because of how many times it has been colored with henna and 4n. I’m not sure what your colorist means about 7… that might refer to the level of blonde he/she thinks they can achieve (http://www.holleewoodhair.com/2014/10/19/hair-color-numbers/2/). Level 7 blonde sounds about right for caramel color so that’s probably what he/she means. I would definitely have your colorist do your highlights for you since they are so hard to do on yourself. They will have to lighten your hair first, and then add a caramel color or toner to it to make it that color. Just keep in mind that caramel will have a goldish tone to it. I would do a little bit at a time so that it isn’t too crazy at first. Hope this helps!

    Hello,
My name is Graham and I am contacting you on behalf of a new TV show entitled “Let me entertain you”. The show is called “Let Me Entertain You” and centers around ordinary people (and not so ordinary!) singing and dancing at home.

We are very interested in featuring your video JB One Time LipSync at the Salon! on our show and I was wondering if it was possible to talk about using the videos on the show non-exclusively.
We’d love to talk more about featuring your video on our new show that we’re producing for the UK channel ITV.

    My email is [email protected]
please respond ASAP so we can discuss it more
If you have any questions at all please do ask.

    Many thanks and speak soon
