You may know her as Queen Cersei Lannister or maybe even King Leonidas’ fair maiden. However, Lena Headey looks nothing like either of those characters in real life. She has been known to rock some amazing hairstyles on Game of Thrones (pre-season 5), but she’s also been rocking some pretty dope hair in real life, recently. This month, I chose Lena Headey at the Golden Globes as my Celebrity Hairstyle of the Month.
When I look back in January 2018, I immediately think about the Golden Globes as being one of the most defining moments of the month. Everyone that attended this award show wore black to support the Time’s Up movement. Time’s Up started in January 2018, as a response to the various sexual harassment allegations in 2017, including the Harvey Weinstein scandal that sparked the #MeToo movement.
It appears that sexual harassment has been widespread in Hollywood for a number of years. Countless women have been harassed and mistreated, under the radar, and it was allowed to go on. Well, 2018 society is not gonna allow this anymore. Hollywood used the Golden Globes as their opportunity to speak out against the harassment and assault. Time’s up, bitches.

Lena Headey’s at the Golden Globes:
Being that this event was so significant to January 2018, I knew I had to choose someone from the Golden Globes as my Celebrity Hairstyle of the Month, this month. I looked through all of the red carpet pictures and found one that really stood out to me as the best: Lena Headey.
I love the subtle balayage going on in her hair, and I love that her hair is wavy, but also natural-looking. It has to be the most complimenting hairstyle I’ve ever seen on her… besides maybe some of Cersei’s fantastic hairstyles. What do you think?
