The new year is quickly approaching us, and that means a new you must emerge. I don’t know about you, but I gained a good five pounds in the past few weeks from all the excellent food and tasty drinks I consumed. Although it’s been delicious and fun, I’m looking forward to getting back into a clean eating/exercise regimen starting on the 1st of the year. It’s not a “new year’s resolution” per say, but more of a step back in the right direction. Anyways, with that said, I wanted to talk about a few of my favorite hairstyles for working out.
This was definitely the year of emerging new beauty trends. In 2017, beauty influencers set the boundaries of what should be accepted as beautiful on the internet. As much as I hope that these trends will go away in 2018, I have a feeling that they are just getting started. Here are some of the worst beauty trends of 2017.
So, this year was my first time hosting Thanksgiving at my new house and all of my family was there. Even though I had a million things on my mind, I remembered that at 5 o’clock, I needed to log on to Ulta.com and buy some cheap makeup. Luckily for me, I was able to get right to the website and managed to add what I wanted to my cart. Unluckily for me, I got sidetracked before fully checking out and by the time I came back, everything was sold out. Even though my turkey just finished at 6 o’clock, I decided to endure the 5-minute drive to pick up some $10 Mascaras from Ulta. Fortunately, it was really quick and easy and I was back home within a few minutes.
The next morning, as I was laying in bed, I realized that I only purchased three out of four of the $10 Black Friday mascaras that we’re on sale. I immediately grabbed my baby daughter, hopped in my car, and drove back to Ulta. To my surprise, they had one more unit of the Buxom mascara and I snatched it up. Now that I have them all, I figured it would be fun for me to compare and contrast them and let you all know which one is my favorite!
Call me basic, but I LOVE fall. Pumpkin spice everything, delicious food, changing colors, cuddling up by the fireplace… I love it all. I’m also one of those people that likes to get in the mood for fall by changing all the scents in my house to pumpkin spice, and wearing more gold tones in my makeup. Since it is a pretty common practice for people to change their hair color in the fall, I decided to share with you a few of my favorite shades of fall hair color…
Japanese Perm, thermal reconditioning, straight perm, bio ionic hair retexturizing, high-tech perm. What do all of these names have in common, you ask? They are all different names for one service: the Japanese hair straightening service.
A Japanese hair straightening service is slightly similar to a Brazilian blowout, but also more like a reverse perm. Because of the negative connotation associated with Brazilian blowouts, I decided to write about this safer alternative. In addition, this service will leave you with permanent pin-straight hair until it grows out.
